Platinum introduces the new CMH / LEC (Light Emitting Ceramic) CMH 315 Platinum lighting fixture. These units use innovative low frequency and square wave technology, which allows them to maintain an efficiency of over 95% after 30,000 hours of operation without changing the spectrum of the lamp, providing safety and efficiency.
These fixtures operate between 120 and 240 V and are therefore suitable for industrial and domestic use. They also have a dial to adjust the power to the needs of the gardener at all times. In addition, they have a RJ14 connection that allows them to be connected to the Platinum Master Controller for total control of the fixtures in the growing environment.

When choosing Lightning Fixture, it is important that they are installed in a room with a high ceiling. Lightning Fixture is not ideal for low rooms, because in this case, the lamp has to be placed too close to the crop with risk of burning. Furthermore, it is important to determine in advance which type of lamp (HPS, CMH, MH) you want to use for the Lightning Fixture. Not every Lightning Fixture is suitable for every type of lamp.
Lightning Fixture is cheaper to purchase than LED lamps. The initial capital required is therefore lower.
Within the Platinum collection, you can choose between Comet 1000W, Supernova 1000W, Venus 1000W, CMH 315W and the CMH 630W.
As explained earlier, Lightning Fixtures give off more heat than LED lamps. It is therefore important to control this heat output properly. What can you use for this?
– Platinum Smart controller (Allows you to set a temperature limit, for example, which automatically dims your lamps when this limit is exceeded).
– Air conditioners.
The Lightning Fixtures of the Platinum collection feature a plug-in-play system. The plug-in-play system makes it super easy to install the Platinum Lightning Fixtures. You won’t need any tools and will be ready as quickly as it sounds.
If you maintain the Lightning Fixture properly, it has a very long lifespan. Of course, this does not apply to the lamps you use for the Lightning Fixture. Different factors play a role here which influence the service life.
Poor maintenance and peak voltages are factors that affect the service life of Lightning Fixture.
All Platinum Lightning Fixtures are dimmable. This is not a standard for other brands.
